DRAFTING AND MODELING
To create something new, you have to know what you’re starting with.
Bright use modern tools and equipment to bring traditional drafting to life.
To understand the sections of your facility to be upgraded, we’ll chose from a range of tools and equipment to complete this task quickly and efficiently, with the accuracy required.
This could be a measuring tape and laser disto, a laser level and survey pole or a 3D laser scan to generate a point cloud, with each different method appropriate to different tasks.
We use the latest software from the AutoDesk suite, including AutoCAD, Inventor, Revit and Navisworks to create concepts, and Fusion, Maya and 3DS Max to display it in a meaningful way.

This is a pharmaceutical grade, 1,000L stainless steel tank on a wheeled frame.
We have created a model using the traditional drafting tool of a tape measure, and importing standard parts from suppliers where available. It has been modelled in Inventor Professional.
We have also taken a 3D laser scan to create a point cloud. This involved scans at different points to capture the entire tank. The scans were processed by the scanning software, then stitched together using Navisworks. We also used Navisworks to create the viewable file.
